Benchu Cylindrical Lenses
Irregular cylindrical lens
Special-shaped cylindrical lenses are the core competitive product of Benchu Optoelectronics. On the basis of standard cylindrical optical processing, Benchu Optoelectronics adopts 8 self-equipped precision engraving machines and 3 CNC machining centers to carry out complex special processing including crystal orientation cutting and positioning, drilling, grooving, edge cutting and square pocketing for cylindrical lenses, enabling full freedom in lens shape design. Rectangular, polygonal, L-shaped, holed, grooved and other custom profiles can all be fabricated according to customer drawings. Special-shaped cylindrical lenses are widely used in integrated optical systems requiring precise matching between optical components and mechanical structures, and serve as key components for highly integrated products such as precision instruments, laser modules and medical optical devices. Benchu Optoelectronics supports mass production of special-shaped cylindrical lenses in small and medium batches. The sampling cycle is negotiable depending on complexity, typically 7 working days.

Benchu Cylindrical Lenses
Crystal cylindrical lens
Crystal cylindrical lenses are made of special optical crystal materials such as YAG, sapphire, zinc selenide (ZnSe) and calcium fluoride (CaF2). Compared with ordinary optical glass, crystal materials feature a higher laser damage threshold, unique transmission bands and excellent thermal stability, making them the ideal choice for high-power laser systems, deep ultraviolet and far-infrared optical systems. Benchu Optoelectronics has extensive experience in processing crystal materials. Strict quality control is implemented throughout the whole process, including crystal orientation verification, cutting positioning, precision grinding and polishing, to ensure the optical axis accuracy and surface figure quality of crystal components meet the requirements of high-end optical systems.

Achromatic cylindrical lens
Achromatic cylindrical lens are composed of two types of optical glass with different refractive indices. By compensating for the dispersion difference between the two glasses, they effectively eliminate axial chromatic aberration in white light or wide-spectrum laser systems, focusing light of different wavelengths at the same position and greatly improving imaging clarity and spectral uniformity. Compared with single-piece cylindrical lenses, achromatic cemented cylindrical lenses deliver superior image quality for wide-spectrum applications, making them ideal for spectrometers, white-light line scanning systems and multi-wavelength laser systems. Benchu Optoelectronics offers custom cemented lens pairs (K9+ZF4, BK7+F2, etc.) with targeted designs to match specific system spectral bands.

Meniscus cylindrical lens
Meniscus cylindrical lenses feature a convex cylindrical surface on one side and a concave cylindrical surface on the other. Through matched curvature design, they can achieve focusing or diverging functions while effectively reducing spherical aberration and astigmatism, delivering better image quality than single-surface designs. Ideal for precision optical systems requiring high imaging quality, they are widely used in high-end laser scanning and medical optics applications.

Benchu Cylindrical Lenses
Double concave cylindrical lens
Biconcave cylindrical lenses feature concave cylindrical surfaces on both sides, providing stronger divergence than plano-concave versions, suited for applications requiring large-angle uniaxial beam expansion. They are commonly combined with other lenses to build complex optical systems for laser beam expansion, collimation and astigmatism compensation.

Biconvex cylindrical lenses
Biconvex cylindrical lenses feature convex cylindrical surfaces on both sides, delivering shorter focal lengths and stronger focusing performance than plano-convex designs. They are ideal for high-power laser line focusing within compact optical paths. The symmetric structure helps reduce aberrations and achieves superior image quality without additional optical elements.

Plano-Concave Cylindrical Lenses
Plano-concave cylindrical lenses have one flat surface and one concave cylindrical surface, mainly used for uniaxial divergence and expansion of laser beams, and serve as key components in laser diode beam shaping and astigmatism correction systems. When matched with plano-convex cylindrical lenses, they can form variable-magnification laser beam shaping systems for precise beam width adjustment. Benchu Optoelectronics plano-concave cylindrical lenses feature stable precision and consistent manufacturing quality, suitable for mass production projects requiring strict batch repeatability.

Plano-Convex Cylindrical Lenses
Plano-convex cylindrical lenses have one convex cylindrical surface and one flat surface, the most common basic type of cylindrical optical elements. They mainly perform uniaxial focusing and shaping of laser beams, converting circular beams into linear beams, and are widely used in laser line generation, barcode scanning, fiber coupling and industrial lighting systems. Benchu Optoelectronics plano-convex cylindrical lenses are available with various optical glass substrates, and can be coated with anti-reflection coatings, reflective coatings and other coatings as required. Each lens is inspected by ZYGO interferometer before delivery.
